Playing on the superb mirror qualities of silver, these floral vases that convert to candlesticks - or are they candlesticks that double up as vases - have the typical highly polished and reflective surfaces we have come to expect from Gabriele De Vecchi, and they were designed by him in 1998. The gleaming silver petals surround a flower with light and absorb the colours. And with a candle, they produce beautiful illumination that looks particularly dramatic when clustered together. The silver Flor candlestick vases look particularly stunning when combined with the shorter Bugia pieces, also by De Vecchi.
