An unusual pair of Arts & Crafts style sterling silver water jugs with waisted bodies and scroll handles. Pairs of water jugs are unusual and this is a particularly stylish example that would complement both traditional and contemporary table settings. The Arts & Crafts movement emerged from a disenchantment with the impersonal, mechanised direction of society in the 19th century, and sought to return to a simpler, more fulfilling way of living.
