Hand-raised and hand-chased sterling silver teapot whose design reflects its Arts & Crafts heritage, with finely detailed cast and applied girdles of woven wirework patterns set against a lattice-effect background, and enclosed with two bands of applied twisted wire.

The polished c-shaped wood handle is comfortable to hold and is complemented by a wood finial on the lid. Most importantly, the stylish straight spout pours perfectly!

We also have a matching Liberty & Co sterling silver milk jug and sugar bowl.

The teapot's capacity is 1 litre - plenty for five to six cups of your favourite brew.

Opened in 1875, Liberty became known for worldly, cultured goods with avant-garde and exotic designs. Indeed, Oscar Wild affirmed: "Liberty is the chosen resort of the artistic shopper". During the 1890s, Liberty built strong relationships with many British silver designers such as William Hair Hassler and the renowned silversmith Archibald Knox, both of whose silverware epitomised the styles of the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements.
