Pair George III silver goblets
7399
Pair of Georgian silver goblets, made in the reign of George III in 1814, with bulbous flared-lip bowls and round, tapering stems. The bodies are attractively engraved with stippled engraving which is typical of the period, depicting exotic birds among foliage. These fine silver goblets have gilded interiors and a thread edge round the foot featuring delicately stylised engraved leaf motifs.
