This silver cocktail tray is the latest design by French architectural, industrial and furniture designer, Jean Marie Massaud, for De Vecchi and demonstrates a skilful balance of the sinuous and the linear.
The horizontal flat surface contrasts with the vertical cocktail sticks, which can be plucked out to pierce canapés on the tray, are clasped in a gentle groove. It is a beautiful example of functional design meeting architecture and therefore transcends fashion.
The Madame De tray was designed as part of the De Vecchi Settanta collection, designed by elite international design names to mark De Vecchi's 70th anniversary.
