An impressive antique silver gallery tray of oval and shaped form, with raised, and slightly flared gallery sides and cut-out handles at either end. The gallery has been hand fretted (pierced) with patterns of scrolling, entwined foliage and fanned fluting within panels, while the rim is decorated with an applied band in the French gadroon pattern.
This lovely silver tray rests on four bun-shaped supports and the usable surface is 530mm x 410mm (approx 20" x 16").
