This very stylish tea and coffee set was made in sterling silver by Walker & Hall of Sheffield in 1935, the height of the Art Deco period. It exhibits strong Art Deco design features including round bodies with stepped lids and carved wooden stepped handles. The tea pot and coffee or hot water jug also have carved wooden feet, similarly designed in the stepped style, a most unusual feature.
This set is of a rare design and is in wonderful condition, ready for use.
