In an unusual design, this is a finely hand-pierced antique silver swinging basket made at the end of the Edwardian era. The oval-shaped basket is mounted on an open-work frame of cast construction and swings from side to side. Both frame and basket have floral and scrolled leaf decorations.
We have show it to serve nuts, but it is equally suitable for presenting sweets, berries or small cakes.
