This is a large and handsome antique handmade silver box with a hinged cover whose surface is beautifully hand-chased with bellflowers, stars, medallions, floral, and leaf swags in a square panel. The body of the box features cast and applied Tudor rose and fleur de lys mounts, while the interior of the lid is gilded.

This fine Edwardian silver box has many uses due to its impressive size. It could be fitted with either a wood lining or velvet in a colour of choice, plus jewellery and wristwatch fitments.
