Very good quality, lidded silver porringer with Trefid pattern spoon fitted in their original presentation case. This excellent silver feeding bowl and spoon would make a wonderful christening gift. The bowl and cover are both fitted with ring and bar finger grips while the bowl is mounted on a collet base and had a moulded girdle.

Historically, cutlery was not made by the same silversmith making bowls, and in this case the silver feeding spoon was made by Francis Higgins, a specialist in silver cutlery.
