The square cut bulbous glass body of this fine Victorian jug is mounted with a sterling silver collar of finely and realistically modelled vine pattern. The hinged lid features a vine leaf finial and a cast handle modelled and textured as a vine tendril. The front of the jug features a clan shield that could be engraved with a crest or monogram.
This wine jug will hold a full bottle of wine.
