Antique 3-piece silver-plated carving set with steel blade, prongs and sharpener. The handles are horn and the ferrules and caps are decorative silver plate. The carving knife is 380mm long.
With it its first trademark taken out in 1767, Lockwood Brothers was a leading Sheffield steel, file and cutlery firm up into the late-nineteenth century with a worldwide customer base.
