This lovely set of George V miniature silver shot mugs, fitted in their original case, is based on a George II style of pint mug that was fashionable in the mid 18th century. Each miniature mug tot is authentically styled with straight sided bodies and tucked-in bases. The scroll handles even feature the traditional thumbpiece.
A fun alternative use might be to use these tot mugs as butt markers by engraving them 1 to 6 on their bases. Butt markers were used to help choose the first shooting position in a game shoot, with shooters taking turns to choose a hidden numbered peg.
