Set of six late period, Art Deco style, sterling silver napkin rings fitted in their original case. The rectangular rings are decorated with smart engine-turned engraving featuring a lattice pattern on either side of differing banded panels on either face.
Art Deco design, short for Arts Décoratifs, is characterised by rich colours, bold geometry, and decadent detail work. Having reached the height of its popularity in the 1920s, '30s and '40s, the style still brings in glamour, luxury, and order with symmetrical designs in exuberant shapes.
