Silver-plated ice bucket or wine cooler

Silver-plated ice bucket or wine cooler

Sold

Fine Victorian silver-plated ice pail or wine cooler made to resemble a traditional bucket with panelled body, scalloped edge and applied hand-engraved banding. The pail has two finely detailed stag heads as detachable handles. This item is exceptionally well made and is of a quality normally associated with solid silver articles.

And here's a tip:
While silver and silver plate are superior for keeping contents cold, don't just fill the ice bucket with ice cubes to chill your favourite wines or Champagne. Fill the silver ice bucket with ice, then halfway up with water, before dropping in the bottle. Add more water if there's room. Adding water creates an icy bath that's in contact with the entire surface of the bottle. Cheers!
