Playing on the superb mirror qualities of silver, these floral vases that convert to candlesticks - or are they candlesticks that double up as vases - have the typical highly polished and reflective surfaces we have come to expect from Gabriele De Vecchi, and they were designed by him in 1998.
The gleaming silver plated petals surround a flower with light and absorb the colours. And with a candle, they produce beautiful illumination that looks particularly dramatic when clustered together.
The silver-plated Flor candlestick vases look particularly stunning when combined with the shorter Bugia pieces, also by De Vecchi.
