Simple sterling silver biscuit box with an oval body and fine thread edging. The integrated base is mounted on four moulded feet while the flat hinged lid has a silver-bound fruitwood finial.

The lid is engraved with a family crest featuring a griffon's head and wings in a coronet and the motto FAIS QUE DOIT ARRIVE QUE POURRA (which translates as "do what is right come what may") - for members of the Capel Cure family:
