Pair of smart and simple antique wine jugs with clear uncut glass bodies of inverted pear form and an un-embellished silver collar and handle with hinged lid.

From the Edwardian era, their design and styling reflects the influence of Christopher Dresser (1834-1904), the Scottish designer and design theorist, now widely known as one of the first and most important independent designers. His knowledge of past styles and experience with modern manufacturing processes made him a pioneer in professional design.

Each wine jug holds a full standard bottle of wine.
