A rare and interesting antique serving dish and lid with marine themes. The base has a wave effect border with stylised shell ending and has been fitted with a wooden serving board. The lid is formed as a seashell with bands of hand-chased floral decoration and has a cast handle in the form of coral.
We have not seen another dish quite like it.
