Set of four quirky Edwardian Rolls Royce silver menu or place card holders. Modelled in the image of the famous Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, these unusual card holders are created in side profile and set on silver wire-work stands.

The Silver Ghost was the first car made at Rolls Royce's Manchester Works around 1907, so it seems Solomon Blanckensee made these silver menu holders in celebration of this iconic car.

The Silver Ghost was the origin of Rolls-Royce's claim to make the "best car in the world" - a phrase coined not by themselves but by the prestigious publication Autocar in 1907.
