Rare antique novelty silver pepper pots in the form a fighting cat and dog. The bodies are cast and hand chased and were made in 1884 by E H Stockwell, noted as a silversmith of finely made works. Novelty silver peppers were extremely popular from the Victorian era onwards and these rarities are a lovely example of the craft.
