Excellent quality, lifesize silver model of a woodcock. Sometimes known as a snipe, this woodland bird is cast in sterling silver using the traditional, centuries-old technique of lost wax casting and hand chased to create intricate body and tail feather detailing resulting in a realistically modelled bird in sterling silver right down to his feet.
The bird's hallmark includes the Queen Elizabeth II jubilee commemorative hallmark of 1977 and would make the perfect table ornament.
