Unusual 19th century sculpted hardstone dish with silver mounts inset with emeralds. The dish is carved from a single piece of deep brown stone with natural veins of colour, while the cast silver mounts incorporate decorative dragons and swans, scrolls and foliage.
It makes a perfect desk tidy or pen tray.
