Large antique silver bowl or centrepiece with scalloped rim decorated with an applied slant gadroon pattern border. The bowl is hand chased with ribbons, garlands and swags, as well as vertical fluted sections interspersed with acanthus leaves. There is a cast and hand chased lion mask with ring handle on either side.
