Made at the turn of the 20th century, this fabulous and extensive set of elegant 1st standard (950/1000) French silver cutlery in Alphonse Debain's signature French Empire style, and presented in its original six-drawer fitted mahogany canteen.
Debain was known for producing tableware of the finest quality, and the elegance and simplicity of his designs meant he was one of Europe's most iconic silversmiths at the end of the 19th century and into the 20th.
