Pair of silver candlesticks made in the early 20th century in the neoclassical style which was first made popular in the late 18th century, circa 1790. They have simple round bases with slender tapering stems and urn-shaped capitals.

This pair of silver candlesticks has been made in a heavy gauge of silver, they have removable nozzles - wax catchers - to aid cleaning, and the nice feature of inset turned wooden bases.
