A highly unusual and attractive Victorian wine or champagne cooler with original liner and lid. The campana shaped body is hand-chased with grape vine decoration and has two cast vine leaf handles. The similarly detailed lid opens to reveal a fully hallmarked silver liner to hold a bottle.

The poignant inscription reads:
