Fine example of a spirit barrel decanter, mounted in a silver frame and fitted with a silver spigot accompanied by a silver pail. The body of the barrel is finely cut glass which is decorated with oval and diamond patterns and fanned palms.
The decanter is fitted with a silver capped cork stopper that, when removed, allows the spigot (tap) to operate and pour the spirit into the silver pail before decanting to a glass or cocktail shaker.
