A beautiful and fine quality large antique silver salver from the Victorian era, made by the royal silversmiths, Hunt & Roskell, late Storr & Mortimer. Hunt & Roskell were the successors to Storr & Mortimer who held the royal warrant.

The salver has a cast, openwork border decorated with overlapping and entwined flowers and tendrils, while the four supports are cast in the form of scrolls and foliage. The surface of the salver is hand -chased and engraved in fine detail and the salver is a suitable size to be used for serving or to hold a tea or coffee set.
