Superb Victorian silver kettle, octagonal in form with beautifully hand-chased decoration of scrolls, stylised leaves and flower heads. The silver kettle's body is mounted on a cast and hand-chased, four-legged frame and is held in place by two pins.
This impressive silver kettle has a hinged insulated handle and by removing the rear pin one can tilt the kettle forwards for easy pouring. The original spirit burner is held within the frame.
