Classic antique Queen Anne style four-piece silver tea and coffee set with the characteristic half-fluted bodies. The elegant silver teapot and coffee pot pour perfectly and have ebonised fruitwood handles and finials, while the domed covers have jeweller's flush hinges, a mark of superior quality. The interiors of the sugar bowl and milk jug are gilded.
Although the pattern is referred to as Queen Anne style, it is in fact more reminiscent of the neoclassical revival era of the 1790s.
