This charming silver table bell is realistically modelled as a tortoise, with hallmarked silver shell and cast-iron body. Made at the end of the Edwardian era, the bell and wind-up mechanism are original to the piece, and the bell has lovely clear ring, produced when pressing either the head or the tail.
