An elegant version of the classic melon pattern, this hand-raised, four-piece antique silver tea and coffee set comprises a coffee pot and teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl, where the the latter two pieces have gilded interiors. Each piece of this silver tea and coffee service rests on four scroll pattern supports. The silver teapot and coffee pots' spouts are of panelled swan neck form and the scroll handles are fitted with ivory heat insulators. The hinged covers have elegant removable melon-shaped cast finials.
