This beautiful, oval, ribbed, antique silver teapot is straight-sided with an attractive wavy profile decorated with bands of brightcut decoration. The lid has a hidden, flush jeweller's hinge, a sign of superior quality, and is surmounted by an oval wooden finial to complement the carved wood handle.
The excellent hallmarks on the base are sharp and the pot is also marked in the lid. All in all, it is a particularly pretty example of a Georgian silver teapot and will serve approximately five cups of tea.
