Elegant early-19th-century Old English pattern sterling silver cutlery set for 12 settings. This elongated and tapering set of Old English is in extremely good condition after 200 years of use. The spoon bowls are all thick enough for use every day and the tines of the forks are strong. At some time in their life the fork tines have been been shortened and levelled to ensure that they wear evenly.

Since antique silver knives rarely survive, 12 pairs of modern knives with silver handles and stainless steel blades in the complementary Old English Pip, Spire or Plain Pistol patterns are available for an additional sum.
