Large-capacity, antique, self-pouring, silver-plated teapot with a vacuum pump cover surmounted by a black wood finial. The body is decorated with a half-fluted design and the cover with complementary fluting.
The self pouring feature is effected by a patented mechanism where the removable slide-out cover is lifted and then pushed down, thus forcing the tea through the spout in a very smooth operation. There's no need to lift the teapot off the table or tray.
