This pretty set of coffee cups and saucers are made with an attractive green glaze and gold overlay of scrolling vines and tendrils. Each cup is fitted in a silver gilt cup holder with hand-pierced openwork decoration. The set is fitted in its original display case and has six silver-gilt demi-tasse spoons with carved wood coffee bean finials.
Elegant 1930s demi-tasse coffee set in fine and original condition. The saucers and coffee cups are from Cauldon China and decorated with gold scroll work, foliage and tendrils. The rims are scalloped . The cups have silver gilt holders with openwork sides and c-shaped scroll handled. The set is accompanied by six coffee bean like pattern spoons and all are fitted in their original fitted case with cream coloured velvet.
