Decorative pair of continental antique sterling silver model pheasants, with hand-chased plumage and of cast construction, in traditional alert and lively poses; a design going back a hundred years. Both the pheasant cock and pheasant hen are hand chased in fine detail to convey an overall lifelike effect.
Often representing the interests of the hosts, traditionally silver game birds would take their place decorating the dining table or mantelpiece, but they make an excellent decorative feature in any part of the home.
