Impressive 178-piece Art Deco Italian silver cutlery set made by Ricci & Clementi circa 1935 of 24 settings all fitted in a fine walnut case with hinged lids and doors and recessed brass side handles. The canteen is 60cm wide x 28cm tall, holding four removable drawers, marked 900 (fineness of the silver) and R&C (maker's initials), and which are fitted for the individual pieces of silver cutlery.
The interior of the baize-lined lid is inscribed with the retailer's details: Giuseppe Fossati, Fu Gerardo Orefice, Gioielliere, Monza, via Vittorio Emanuele 17
