Excellent, large Art Deco style silver bowl centrepiece suitable either for displaying fruit or flowers but it would also make a fabulous presentation piece.
The Art Deco styling and motifs can be seen around the body and base, as well as on the on the cast and applied handles. A silver girdle surrounds the body and sections around the bowl are hand chased.
As a presentation piece or silver trophy, we can make a bespoke wooden plinth, with or without a silver band for engraving, at an additional cost.
Art Deco was the popular design style spreading across Europe in the 1920s and 1930s and characterised especially by sleek geometric or stylised forms. It represented luxury, glamour, exuberance, and faith in social and technological progress.
