This elegant antique silver vase centrepiece, mounted on a shaped triangular base, features a central, trumpet-shaped flower vase, surrounded by three small silver vases. The silver vases are displayed and elegantly held by a silver wirework frame.
Traditionally made of silver and based on the original épergne design - a large central bowl with two to seven branches supporting smaller silver or crystal baskets, dishes or candleholders - trumpet épergnes were designed purely as a decorative table centrepiece to display flowers and floral decorations.
