This impressive pair of six-light silver-plated candelabra was made by Parisian silversmith Christofle in the late19th century. The cast bases are of an open-work lattice design mounted on three lion mask legs with hoofed feet, connected by grape and vine sections. The fluted stems have garland reliefs and each candelabrum has five S-shaped arms with leaf capes and a central raised candle holder.
