Handmade mid-century sterling silver box, inlaid with mother-of-pearl in a design featuring a basket of fruit and berries by the designer Lev (Leff) Schultz (1897-1970).

Panels flanking the central design, and the surrounding border, are hand engraved. The interior of the box is partitioned and gilded and both the body of the box and the mother-of-pearl panel are signed by the artists.

The silver box was designed by D R Currie and made by E Valentine for Asprey & Co
