Colonial era silver-plated hip flask

Colonial era silver-plated hip flask

Sold

Made in the early part of the 20th century, this is a good quality, colonial, silver-plated hip flask with a slide-off cup that has a gilded interior. The compressed ball cover has one-twist bayonet mechanism to release and is fitted with a cork seal. In terms of manufacturing quality, this antique Vectis Plate hip flask, made in Burma, is every bit as well made as one made in solid silver.
