Pair of George III silver goblets
8392
Made in the reign of George III in 1814, this pair of Georgian silver goblets have bulbous flared-lip bowls and round, tapering stems. The bodies are attractively engraved with stippled engraving, which is typical of the period, depicting exotic birds among foliage. A thread edge runs round the spreading feet, featuring delicately stylised engraved leaf motifs, and the interiors are gilded. Perfect for imbibing either wine or water.
