Antique, George III period, silver trophy cup and cover in the neoclassical style that was first made popular during the mid 1770s. The elegant tapering body and cover are decorated with applied bead pattern mounts, while the raised C-shaped handles features a reeded decoration, and the cover is surmounted by a leaf-wrapped ovoid finial - all motifs of the neoclassical style.

This trophy is suitable for engraving.
