This very stylish five-piece sterling silver tea set, designed by renowned Swiss silversmith, Paul Binder for Ravissant in the 1980s, comprises a teapot, hot water pot, sugar bowl and cover, with ebonised finials, plus a milk jug, all sitting on a two-handled gallery tray. The pots are oval in form and waisted in the middle, with the wide parts of the base ovals at right angles to the upper sections. This is not easy to explain in words, but the effect is surprising and stunning!

The silver handles on the teapot and coffee pot are insulated with wooden inserts.

The silver tray is 24" x 9¼" (610mm x 235mm). The capacity of both teapot and coffee pot is 30 fl oz (900 ml) providing five cups of your favourite tea and maybe a couple more of coffee.
