Of the period, this is a very good example of a sterling silver mug in an ever-popular late-18th-century design. It is a classic George III period can-shaped silver mug and features engraved reeded bands around the body .With concentric ribbed decoration around the body and a gilded interior, it makes an excellent coming-of-age gift.
