Berwick Parish Church

Berwick Parish Church

We were approached to design and make a large cross and alter candlesticks for Berwick Parish Church, the only Parish Church built during The Commonwealth of Oliver Cromwell. The brief was to make the cross sturdy enough for the purpose of longevity, yet not so heavy as to make it difficult to carry the cross during services. We employed various skills in the making of it, sheet work, modelling and chasing the plaques, and fine hand engraving.

The candlesticks and cross are made to be as simple as possible, in keeping with the historical heritage of the church.
