This is a charming, hand chased, antique silver dish in the form of a horseshoe, made in the early Edwardian era at the begining of the 20th century.

The dish features the concave shape of the racehorse's foot, appearing to be fitted with the shoe and featuring the horseshoe nails. For stability the piece sits on three ball feet and makes a perfect gift as a nut or trinket dish for a horse owner or lover.
